ABOUT

In November 2016, I started a position as an Instructional Design Specialist at Volunteer State Community College. In December 2018, I was awarded my masters degree in Instructional Design and Technology program from the University of Memphis.

Who I am

I am a middle-aged transplant from the north (burr) to the south (ahhh). I have worked in education for almost 20 years. I have held many positions including Hot Lunch Coordinator, Receptionist, Development Secretary, Media Specialist, Test Proctor, Adaptive Technology Specialist and, most recently, Instructional Designer. I love working in a field where people are intentionally trying to become better people.

Why I do this

As I start an Instructional Design and Technology program I want to have a place to gather my resources, host my projects, share my reflections and connect with other learners. In short, this site is a record of what I have learned and how I have grown.
